Desiilaaz with (Peppermint) and elaichi (cardamom)
It is usually a symptom
of indigestion, diarrhea, overeating, vomiting or nausea, but may also arise
from gastroenteritis, urinary disorders, appendicitis or ulcers. Herbal teas
work well to relieve pain from indigestion. For other pains consult doctor.
1st
Heat 15 g of crushed
dhania (Coriander) seeds in ½ cup of water in a covered container till liquid
is reduced to 3 tbsp. Filter and take 1-3 tspf twice a day.
2nd
To 1 tspf of crushed
saunf (Fennel) seeds add 1 cup of boiling water for 10-15 min in covered
container. Filter and take 1 cup 2-3 times a day hot.
3rd
To 15 g of crushed leaves
of paparminta (Peppermint) add 2 cups of boiling water in covered container for
5-20 min as per the strength needed. Filter and take 1-2 cups a day warm.
4th
Boil 1 tspf of crushed
pahadi pudina (Spearmint) leaves in 2 cups of water in covered container.
Remove from heat and let it stand for 15 min. Filter and take 1-2 cups a day.
5th
Boil 1 g of powdered
choti elaichi (cardamom), 1 g of powdered saunf (Fennel) seeds and 1 g of
ground mint leaves with 2 cups of water in a covered container for 15 min.
Remove from heat and let it stand for 15 min. Filter and take ½ cup twice a
day.
6th
To ½ tspf of dhania
(Coriander) powder and ½ tspf of adrak (Ginger) powder add 1 cup of boiling
water, cover and let it stand for 5-10 min. Filter and take 1 cup twice a day. (Excellent for relieving indigestion in children)
