Desiilaaz with crushed adrak (Ginger) rhizomes and balsan (Balm) leaves
Tension headaches occurs
after prolonged concentration on reading or sewing, emotional stress and
anxiety. It is pain on the back side of head lasting for an hour.
Cluster headache occurs
at night with pain behind one eye then eye fills with tear and nasal blockage.
It is due stress or alcohol.
Migraine is a recurrent
headache in one side of head. Nausea and vomiting are common. Aged and strong
cheese, broad beans, alcohol and flavoring agent monosodium glutamate may
precipitate an attack of migraine.
1st
To 2 tspf of crushed
rogani balsan (Balm) leaves add 1 cup of boiling water in a covered container
for 10 min. Filter and take 1 cup twice a day with honey or sugar.
2nd
Add 2 cups of boiling
water to 30 g of crushed adrak (Ginger) rhizomes in a covered container and let
it stand for 25 min. Filter and take 1-2 cups a day hot or warm. (For migraine)
3rd
To 1 tspf of crushed
dharu (Lavender) blossoms add 1 cup of boiling water in a covered container for
10-15 min. Filter and take 1 cup twice a day for 2-3 weeks.
4th
Boil 1 handful of crushed
rusmary (Rosemary) leaves in 2 cups of water in covered container for 15
min. Cool, filter and take 1 cup twice a
day.
5th
Boil ½ tspf of crushed
brhambhi (Thyme leaved Gratiola) in 2 cups of water for 15 min in a covered
container. Cool, filter and take 1-2 tbspf twice a day.
6th
To 2 tspf of crushed
leaves of bunafshah (Violet) add 1 cup of boiling water in a covered container
for 15 min. Filter and take 1 cup a day.
7th
To 1 cup of boiling water
add 1 tspf of crushed babunah (Chamomile) flowers ½ tspf of crushed dharu
(Lavender) flowers and ½ tspf of crushed jalakan (Valerian) root in a covered
cup for 8 hrs. Filter and take 1 cup twice a day. (Contraindicated
in pregnant, nursing and children below 2 yrs of age)
8th
To 1/3 tspf of crushed
aspurk (Lemon Balm), 1/3 tspf of crushed nimboo (Lime) flowers and 1/3 tspf of
crushed rusmary (Rosemary) add 1 cup of boiling water, cover and let it stand
for 15 min. Filter and take1-4 cups a day.
